Infrastructure update - Part I

As we have explained in our last infrastructure post, we have been working to improve our backend for a while.Today marks the first day we started using the partial new backend (twitch data consumers for now) that runs dotnet core. 0.10: stability improvements

In last few days we released the new version of hypetraq. This version includes some stability improvements.We had an issue with importing new games — causing duplicate imports. We’ve fixed that and issues with duplicate slugs too. You should be able to browse all games in our database now without any issues.We have also fixed a few minor issues, nothing major but mostly QOL changes.

We havea just pushed 0.0.10 release today with a bunch of bugfixes & improvements.Fixed a bug major bug with steam data collector where most of the games were never queried.Further improved our steam data collector, it’s now faster and thankfully we’ll be able to collect per-hour samples for every game in steam database!Added cool stats to our front page. Everybody loves stats and yes we a total of 19k games in our database!
